Vandalism Damage:

Vandalism often involves spray paint on walls both interior and exterior, defacement of furnishings, egging, or spreading of noxious substances. Prompt action can often minimize the effects of vandalism and make restoration more successful.

DO:

• Retain a certified restoration firm such as
  V.S. Restoration;
• Take pictures of any damage and evidence;
• Save containers and spray cans, which may reveal the composition of inks and pigments;
• Hose down or wash egg damage from building exterior as soon as possible.

DO NOT:

• Attempt to remove ink, paint, or cosmetic stains, as they can be permanently set if not handled properly.
